Olyn Management is committed to ensuring that the processing of personal data transmitted and/or collected on the site olyn-group.com (hereinafter referred to as the ”Site”) are in accordance European regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act.


1. Who collects your personal data?

The data collected on our Site is processed by or on behalf of Olyn Management, publisher of the said webite, in its capacity as Data Owner, registered in France under number 750 832 610, whose head office is located 44 avenue Georges Pompidou, 92300 Levallois-Perret.

2. When is your data collected?

We collect your data on various occasions and in particular:

  • When you send a message in the “Contact” section of the Site
  • During professional events
  • When you submit a spontaneous application or you are applying to an open position within Olyn Group.

3. Which data is collected?

  • Data that you provide on the website: mainly your email address.


4. What is your personal data used for?

4.1 Your personal data is required to:

  • register and process your requests.
  • send you documentation.
  • manage commercial relationships if you enter into a contract with one of the brands from Olyn Group.
  • carry out analyses, studies and collecting statistics.

4.2 To use your data, we rely:

  • On the execution of a contract with one of the brands from Olyn Group. You have given your consent while downloading a white paper, attending a Webinar or sending a request for information.
  • On our legitimate interest for example, and without this list being exhaustive, to improve the Site, to make marketing statistics and analyses, and to send you commercial offers. Of course, you can decide not to, or no longer to receive offers by writing to us (see also 7. What are your rights to your data?). To use this legal basis, we need to ensure that our legitimate interest does not deprive you of a right or freedom.

In relationships between professionals (BtoB), as soon as commercial requests are sent to a professional email address and these requests are related to the profession of the person in question, no consent is required. However, you can oppose it (see Article 7).

From a legal standpoint: retention of data in intermediate archives at the end of the announced retention periods.

5. Who are the recipients of your personal data?

The authorized services of Olyn Management for the purposes referred to above; your data is only accessible to staff members who need to know it in the context of the exercise of their functions, when you make a request on the site intended for one of our subsidiaries, we transmit your data to the subsidiary concerned, namely Hipto, Avent media, namely Hipto, Avent media, namely Hipto, Avent media, Skaze, WOÔ, Mozoo and GTR Suite or any new subsidiary of the Group, our partners if you have expressly agreed to receive their offers by email. These can be companies from any sector of activity and, in particular, the automotive, leisure, consumer, consumer, educational, telecommunications, charitable sectors, our service providers, also called subcontractors and/or co-contractors, to help us work. We have no intention of selling or renting your data because you have given it to us and you trust us.

6. How long do we keep your data for?

Retention periods may vary depending on the purpose pursued:

  • If you have entered data on the Site as part of a request, your data will be kept for the two (2) years following the date of the last contact from you.
  • At the end of these two years, we may contact you again to find out if you wish to continue to receive commercial solicitations from us. If necessary, the data will be deleted or anonymized and you will no longer receive requests from us.

If you have exercised your right of access to your data and you have provided us with your copy of your identity document, we can keep it for 1 year from its receipt by our services.

If you have exercised your right to object, we allow ourselves to keep your data in order to no longer annoy you by sending commercial offers.

At the end of all these periods and in the majority of cases, we will be able to keep your data, in intermediate archives, until the expiry of both the legal limitation periods and those provided for by the various conservation obligations imposed by the regulations.

7. What are your rights to your data?

You have the following rights at all times:

  • Right of access : in particular to find out what data we have on you
  • Right to rectification : to ask to change them in case of error (e.g. error in the spelling of your email address...) or change (email address...)
  • Right to erasure : to request the deletion of your data for one of the following reasons:
  • Your data is no longer necessary for the purposes (purposes) for which it was collected
  • You exercise your right to object to the processing of your data
  • Your data is being processed unlawfully
  • Your data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation.

  • Right to portability : to request the transmission of your data to another data controller.

  • What happens to your data after your death — You can decide, right now, what happens to your personal data after your death. You can give instructions on their storage, deletion and communication, and you can also designate a person in charge of their execution.

When these instructions are general and include the data of a deceased person, they can be entrusted to a trusted third party certified by the CNIL. If they are specific instructions, they can also be given to us as Data Controller. You remain free to modify or revoke them, at any time, on simple request.

In the absence of instructions given during your lifetime, your heirs will have the possibility, once you have died, to exercise certain rights:

  • Right to object to the processing of your data including for commercial prospecting purposes... i.e. you have the right to:
    • to object to us processing your data for a well-defined purpose. In this case, you should put forward “reasons relating to your particular situation”;
    • to object to us processing your data for commercial purposes (in other words: you do not or no longer wish to receive commercial offers from us and/or from publishers). In this case, you will not need to give a pattern.

Indeed, you have freedom of choice. You are free to accept or refuse, at any time, to receive our offers or those of our partners.

How does it work?

If you do not want to receive our offers or no longer want to receive our offers, we invite you to:

8. How to exercise your rights?

If you want to exercise any of these rights, you can:

Any request must specify the address to which the response must be sent, it being specified that we will respond to you within one (1) month from the receipt of the request.

In some cases, we reserve the right to ask you for an identity document or any other useful element.

9. Is my data secure?

We take all necessary security measures to protect your personal data in order to avoid loss, deterioration, malicious use, alteration, or disclosure to an unauthorized third party. The data transfers we make are secure.

When working with service providers, we require contractual commitments that are at least equivalent to ours in terms of protection, confidentiality and security of personal data.

If a security breach occurs that poses a significant risk to your data, we are committed to informing you, just as we will inform the CNIL, which guarantees that companies comply with regulations on personal data.
